Pig iron

Pig iron is a very heavy material consisting of large pieces. Therefore it is not possible to penetrate with a normal clamshell grab. Best way to handle pig iron is with trimming grabs. This type of grabs have a very wide opening and horizontal closing path. By closing this grab the pig iron will be scraped together.
